Voyage to EHR

Voyage to EHR

Compulink has signed on as a co-sponsor along with Ocular Surgery News (OSN), to support practice consultant and OSN Section Editor, John Pinto, on his mission to support the Hawaiian Eye Foundation (HEF), being called the, "Voyage to EHR."  John Pinto will undertake a month-long solo trans-Pacific sailing adventure in 2012.

In addition to raising awareness for HEF's patient care mission in the South Pacific, John's voyage is meant to help better educate and support the ophthalmic community in the transition many practices are making this year to Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Voyage Details

  • John will be single-handing Aurelia, a 24-foot sloop
  • Aurelia will set sail from San Diego on or around May 6, 2012 and will arrive in Honolulu in early June, 2012
